Elena Rybakina was interested in sports since childhood. At an early age, she was focusing on gymnastics and ice skating. When she was six years old her father suggested she switch to tennis. After that, she began her tennis training.

Elena Rybakina’s biggest career achievement is winning a Wimbledon title in 2022. It is Rybakina’s first Grand Slam title of her career.

Winning maiden WTA 1000 singles title in Indian Wells
After her amazing performance in Australian Open, Elena Rybakina wins her first WTA 1000 singles title in Indian Wells.
In that tournament, Elena Rybakina defeats world no.1 Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals, and world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka in the final. “And she was the first woman in history to beat both the World No.1 and No.2 in the same year at the tournament.”

After winning the title at Indian Wells, Elena Rybakina has a chance to complete a ‘Sunshine Double’.
She reaches the Miami Open final. She Was dropped just one set in the tournament, before the final.
However, she lost the final against Petra Kvitova 7-6(14) 6-2.

Elena Rybakina wins her first clay-court title in Rome. It was the second WTA 1000 singles title of her career.
